Pride for Parents

A program of restoration and hope that provides dignity, opportunity and hope to families in need. Pride for Parents accomplishes this through the following programs:

The Neighborhood Store

is located on the north side of the Terry Heights neighborhood at 2815 University Drive and is more then a thrift store. The Neighborhood Store is a place that provide clothing and household items at a low cost to families. It builds hope by giving opportunity to families to work in exchange for the items that they cannot afford to buy. Download the Neighborhood Store Brochure.

Santa's Secret Shop

provides dignity to parents by making it possible for them to provide toys and gifts for their own children. Second Mile believes that the parents should be the known provider for the gifts at Christmas. Download the Christmas Brochure. View the toys by clicking on the link to Santa's Secret Shop.

Kid Kits

help parents purchase needed school supplies for a fraction of the retail cost. The tools for learning that their children need can be taken out of control of finances and put in the hands of concern and love.
